The Amitabha Great 48 Vows

I have been talking about the Amitabha Buddha all the while. Yes, Amitabha Buddha is the buddha that made 48 vows and all these vows were made in the best interest of all sentient beings. And Buddhas in all direction showered him with immense adorn and praise, promised to spread the good news of Pure Land to all direction in the Universe.

Just recite Amitabha Buddha everyday. Regardless of how many times, there are those that recites the name of Amitabha Buddha for great amount but nevertheless gain no merit at all. This is because to fully cultivate merits in Buddha Recitation requires

• Faith in Buddha Recitation
• Vows and Buddha Recitation
• Practice in Buddha Recitation

Lord Amitabha promised in his vows made to welcome and escort anybody who chant his name in earnest and hopes to be reborn in Pure Land. Why Pure Land?

It would take me a long time to describe the all the good points of Pure Land. Well, if you don't trust me, you should trust Lord Sakyamuni Buddha, right? He personally specified all Dharma-Ending Age practitioner of Buddhism to be following this path because it requires not long and tedious cultivation. All you need to do is to chant Amitabha Buddha name and made earnest vows. The next thing is to wait for Amitabha, Kuan Shih Yin or Ta Shih Chi Bodhisattva to welcome and escort you to Pure Land.

Once you are in Pure Land, you would not go back to the 6 Path. In other word, you would be anything you wanted to be. There would be no more pain, no bad things, no one you hate, no need to worry and lot more. You would be enchanted to keep on cultivating yourself until you enter Buddhahood in Pure Land because of the heavenly conditions there.
